Bridging the Way

Building a bridge is no easy task. Our 4th graders put that to the test! After learning about the engineering and design principals of various bridges, students applied knowledge by constructing a bridge that had to span 10 inches using very limited materials. The goal- to support a live load of at least 100 pennies.
